United States Air Force Academy Parents' Club - Texas Permian Basin (West Texas)
Service area: Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland-Odessa, San Angelo, Abilene and surrounding areas.
Purpose: To support the United States Air Force Academy, Cadets and Cadet families, former Cadets and Alumni.
Interested In the United States Air Force Academy?
Our purpose is to unite parents, to provide news and support during the time that their son or daughter is attending the Academy and to support our West Texas cadets. Membership is open to parents of Academy and Prep school cadets from the West Texas area including the Panhandle of Texas down to San Angelo and over to Abilene. This year we have sent Acceptance Day boxes to our Class of 2013 cadets, and will be sending goody boxes to all our cadets in the fall and spring. Your $25 annual membership dues helps us to afford to send these boxes to our cadets.
In addition, members receive email updates from the Academy liason on everything from news to bus schedules during the holidays. This liason is a valuable resource when parents have questions.
Each member will also be given a roster of all members and cadets which is valuable for arranging carpools for rides to and from the Academy during holiday breaks.
Please fill out your membership form and include your cadet info so that we can remember your cadet on his/her birthday and get to know you and your cadet better
Please consider donating to the Rando Fund. The Fund’s primary purpose is to help finance travel so that a small group of Cadets can attend the funeral services of another Cadet. Other purposes include other humanitarian purposes such as enabling Cadets of limited financial means to be able to travel home to visit a sick family member, close relative or friend based on the recommendations of the Chaplain’s Office and the Commandant's Office.
Please consider joining the USAFA Association of Graduates. Your dues and contributions go to support many outstanding programs for our cadets to enrich their educational experience.
